Skills Training

HSB Skills Training is designed to help players of all ages and skill levels get a head start on their game. Led by Head Start Basketball Director Mike Klinzing, our experienced staff has trained players ranging from beginners to the collegiate level.

Our training sessions use intense, dynamic drills combined with clear teaching points to develop strong fundamentals and game-ready skills that translate to real competition. We teach skills in an engaging and innovative way, helping players enjoy the process and motivating them to practice on their own.

HSB Skills Training gives players the tools they need to improve—not just as basketball players, but as competitors. In addition to skill development, we emphasize toughness, leadership, work ethic, and competitiveness, inspiring players to work hard both during sessions and on their own time.

Training is available at the Strongsville Recreation Center, Hoop Central (Strongsville), Athletic Performance Training Center (North Royalton), and your location if a gym is available. Private instruction is offered for 1–3 players per session
