Matt Jancar

Matt has been around basketball either playing, officiating or coaching most of his life. He has coached at a variety of levels including working with the North Royalton Girls Varsity team in 2006 as well as a variety of middle school AAU teams. He currently coaches Middle School Basketball at Strongsville Middle School.

Matt has found that players respond the best to positive coaching and instruction. He brings this philosophy to individual lessons or team instruction. Being married with 3 children who all played basketball, Matt approaches coaching as a teacher but also a parent.

Matt holds a teaching license in language arts and a masters in special education. He currently teaches freshman English and special education at Strongsville High School.
