Basketball on the Edge – The lessons I learned in basketball shaped who I am off the court by Steve Nash

This week’s article  follows up on the quotes from Steve Nash that became part of my  “The Love of the Game” post.  In this article Nash explains 5 lessons he learned from basketball and how those lessons apply to his own life and the lives of others.

As a basketball parent or coach one of your goals should be to use the game of basketball to help teach life lessons to your kids or your players.  Nash explains how what he has learned will allow him to make an impact on others and allow him to leave a greater legacy beyond the game.  Not all of us are fortunate enough to reach the heights in the game that Steve Nash did, but we all should be concerned about our legacy and how we use the game to help shape ourselves and those around us.
